WebOxford Samaritans opened in 1963, it is an active branch with around 170 volunteers who respond to around 2,500 calls and 1,000 emails each month. Samaritans volunteers come from all backgrounds and all walks of life and offer their time to support those facing a tough time. We’re proud to have such dedicated volunteers and supporters! WebThere are many people experiencing homelessness in Oxfordshire, and dozens of organisations focusing on the problem. This diversity can be confusing for would-be volunteers and supporters.
