Petrified Lichen guard and Force Reactive Disk (hint you can have multiple and swap them out when they are low dura) have always been better.

Certain items, like demonforged breastplate and skull flame shield use the exact same spells as players do. As a result those items are currently nerfed with the same effect. You have other options for AoE farming as a paladin, and relying on procs from your shield to kill mobs is dumb because even if it does scale with SP in TBC, consecrate is still the more consistent option. early 17 century homes
