A coated waterproof fabric palette inspired by Rains’ first design – a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic rubber raincoat. WebThis way the rainwear fashion changed from a plastic look, to a more textile expression. The collections were inspired by haute couture from Paris, and were marketed in magazines, trade brochures, newspapers and on cinema posters. The Danish illustrator Christels elegant and colorful drawings illustrated the modern man and woman.
