WebThe Norfolk Brickyard Campsite is an old brickyard on the Holkham Estate. The last brick was made here in 1951, and since then the land was largely forgotten until the current tenants moved in 20 years ago and began to clear almost 50 years of wilderness. WebThe brickyard is an area used to encourage the breeding of several species of wild game birds. The main game birds are Pheasant and Partridge but there is also widgeon, teal, and woodcock. The site is managed by Holkham Gamekeepers who control the finely balance ecosystem with modern sustainable practice.
